Mary Ann Ferris-Young

Mary Ann Ferris-Young owns Michigan Global Trade, LLC, and has since 2018. Prior to this venture, she garnered extensive experience in large consulting and software companies, supplemented by invaluable time spent in the nonprofit sector.

In addition to Michigan Global Trade, LLC, Mary Ann also leads a collection of companies that reflect her vision for smarter sourcing and stronger connections: Supply Growth Global improves supply chains, ThinkDo supports inventors through product development and global talent outsourcing, Green Growth Global, supporting licensed recreational and medical facilities through global sourcing and manufacturing, and Global Tribal Network builds partnerships with Tribal member-owned businesses, and logistics management. Together, these ventures strengthen U.S. access to global suppliers while staying rooted in community values.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Mary Ann is a mother to a 14-year-old, a wife, and fully dedicated to driving forward as a woman-owned enterprise.

Mary Jane Oatman

Mary Jane Oatman, an enrolled member of the Nez Perce Tribe and descendant of the Delaware Tribe, is the Executive Director of the Indigenous Cannabis Industry Association (ICIA), founder of the Indigenous CANNabis Coalition (ICANNC), and publisher of THC Magazine. A passionate advocate for tribal sovereignty and cultural restoration, she has worked extensively with tribal, state, and federal entities to support Indigenous-led efforts in hemp and cannabis.

Her leadership includes appointments such as the youngest member of the National Advisory Council on Indian Education under President Barack Obama and Idaho’s first Director of Indian Education. Mary Jane also serves on the boards of the JUSTUS Foundation, ACHEM, and has held roles with the ACLU and Minority Cannabis Business Association.

Outside of her advocacy, she’s a mother to three beautiful people, a certified fitness instructor, cultural photographer, and dedicated to traditions like fishing, gathering, and supporting community healing.
