In 1986, my family took a trip that included a stop in Vancouver, British Columbia for a month. During that time we took trips including the lovely Vancouver Island. In Port Alberni there still is an Italian restaurant called Solda’s. If you ask any 15 year old boy generally a large percentage of them would say their favorite food is pizza, and boy, did this place have it. The Mozzarella was on heavy and it was flavorful. I couldn’t stop talking about it for days and to this day I can’t forget the restaurant’s name or the pizza. They just celebrated their 50th year in 2019. #soldasrestaurant. – Tim
