Sometimes dumb things stick in your head for eternity. For a month in 1991 I stayed in Amsterdam for a college geography course and passed this sign many, many times. Of course every time you go over a “drempel”, you had to say “Let Op!” Many of my local friends speak Dutch, so I am not sure they would find it as much fun as me. -Tim
